Film entered my life a little by accident...
In 2023, while working as a nurse with a community in northern Vanuatu for several years, I was invited to document their traditional Chiefs Day. This is how the film Mota Lava came to life. With no experience, no particular intention… just an invitation, and the trust that came with it.
This first film opened a space I had not anticipated at all. Another way of listening, of staying, of sharing. Since then, other films have emerged… always from encounters, often spontaneous, never entirely planned.
Little by little, I became aware of the potential of film for those who wish to tell, to transmit. This led me to professionalize this practice. Still, my way of working remains very intuitive. Each film is built through relationships, over time, in the trust that develops… and in what wishes to be translated into images.

BETWEEN THE LINES (2026)
Format : documentary film, 26 minutes
Author : Coline Stagnitto Woleg
Directed by : Coline Stagnitto Woleg
Production : Human Tales
Tents, tarpaulins, a few belongings hastily piled up… lives hanging in the balance. In the heart of the Cambodian displaced persons camps, born of an armed conflict along the Thai-Cambodian border, the violence of displacement exists alongside spontaneous and vital bursts of human solidarity. Marin ventures into the camps. A survivor of the Khmer Rouge era, he connects the exiles of yesterday with those of today. Through him emerge human voices, too often stifled by the clamor of conflict. An immersive narrative devoid of political discourse, centered on the human experience… that explores the paradoxes of conflict: violence and solidarity, loss and legacy, waiting and momentum… and reveals what endures when everything else crumbles.
